Bright, charming, cosy studio in central Paris, at the foot of Montmartre, available for swap from June 24th to July 29th (although dates for your stay in Paris are flexible; these are the dates for our trip to NYC).

Leave us your apartment/studio in New York City and come enjoy our lovely Paris studio, a walking distance away from the beautiful Sacré Cœur with its gorgeous view, adorable streets, delicious cafés and restaurants, designer boutiques, the Moulin Rouge, etc.

The apartment is perfect for a couple or single. Being on the 6th floor (no elevator, sorry!) with two large windows up front, one in the kitchen and another in the bathroom, the studio is very bright. It has recently been renovated. There’s a lovely wood floor, a decorative chimney, a good-sized fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom (including a large tub). The studio is very comfortably furnished (double-bed, leather couch, wood furniture…) It has a great library full of literature and philosophy books (for you to pick from if you feel like it!), separating the bed from the rest of the studio. It’s a quiet and peaceful place to stay.

Washing machine, high-speed Internet, good closet space available. Linen and towels provided.

There’s a great farmer’s market right downstairs every Wednesday and Saturday, as well as many grocery stores around, and a delicious « boulangerie » right around the corner, for croissants and warm baguette in the morning…

The neighborhood is lively but very safe and access from the street is secure (digital entrance code).

There are many subways and buses in the area, which will get you to Opéra in 10 minutes, and the Louvre, Beaubourg, the Marais, the Quartier Latin in 20 or so.

We love our apartment and hope you will take good care of it, as we will yours. We are both young philosophy teachers. I’m half-American and grew up in New York; I’m really looking forward to spending some time in my hometown this summer.

I can send more pictures if you’re interested.
