Decorate, embellish and brighten your house with objects and pieces of furniture painted with your image:
clock, plates, boxes, trunks, doors, frameworks, pieces of furniture…
Claude will initiate you with the traditional and very old techniques of painting on wood.
If you cannot draw… no problem, you will be able to transfer
You will learn how to prepare your supports
You will learn all of the applicable techniques on wood (sponge, stencil …)
You will make your patinas,
To start…
Simply bring a small object or a simple piece of wood, sandpaper, some brushes and acrylic paints,
For more than 25 years, Claude Laurent, prize winner of the School of Beaux- Arts of Paris and the university of Paris St Charles.
She has taught in France and abroad.
After having created the very first workshops of painting on wood in Paris, in the art center of Meudon,
and taught during nearly 15 years in the United States, in particular in California.
Claude has a passion for painting on wood and she will be able to share with you.
