French impressionism meets American jazz when the Jazz Faure Project performs 17 songs by the 19th century composer Gabriel Faure as arranged for jazz quartet and two voices.

Invited by University of Chicago Center in Paris as keynote presentation of a one-day conference, there will be two public concerts:

Le jeudi 24 avril
à 18 h au Musée de Montmartre : 12 rue Cortot Paris 18ème.(Réservations obligatoires au 01 49 25 89 39) 10 Euros.

Le vendredi 25 avril 2008
à partir de 19h30, à la Halle Saint-Pierre : 2 rue Ronsard Paris 18ème. Donation acceptee.

Le vendredi, le 25 avril au cours de la journée, une conférence inspirée par le thème du Jazz Fauré Project:
"Les rencontres jazzistiques: Entre les aspects visuals et musicaux dans le Jazz"
au Centre de l'Université de Chicago à Paris, 6 rue Thomas Mann, 13e.
