I am a PhD student in France and I have a room to share for the comming summer or a longer term. It's a 18m2 room divided in two by the furniture. The part I offer is by the window, with real wood furniture: chest-of-drawyers, bed, desk with drawyers, bookcases, bench, and lamps.
In the room, there is also a nice 2place-sofa, my bed, other shelves and a wardrobe.
It's a light new apt with a full bathroom, a large kitchen, another room (with a spanish serious girl live-in), and an entrance hall. Simple, but comfortabe. There's cable & wifi internet connexion and fixed telephone with free calls to the USA.

It's in a new building in the nice quarters of St. Fargeau (L3 bis); but also close to M.Telegraphe (L.11), which takes you to Hotel de Ville (downtown) in 15 minutes.

There is everything around here (libraries, markets, post office, parks, baker's and burtcher's shops, cinemas, etc), except noise.
It's also 15 minutes from the night life of Menilmontant (bars, cafés, cuisine du monde and populat commercial area).
